About Coach

‍

I wasn’t born an athlete and growing up, I actively avoided sports and genuinely disliked working out. That all changed in 2011 when I took my first CrossFit class because I was just looking for something different to do. Through consistency and a lot of hard work inside the gym and kitchen, CrossFit completely upgraded my physical, mental, and social life. Along the way, I learned that success for me is not about having the heaviest lift in the room—it's about showing up, giving 100%, and supporting others.

‍
This realization is exactly what morphed me into the coach I am today. In 2015, I started coaching to prove to the 'everyday person'—the one standing exactly where I was in 2011—that anyone can do this!

‍

Feats of Strength

‍
My greatest athletic achievement is my consistency—showing up every morning to move, stay healthy, and socialize with my friends :-) I may not have the heaviest or fastest leaderboard scores, but I define my success by giving 100% effort (whatever 100% looks like for that given day) to every strength session and conditioning workout which has me leaving the gym proud of the work I put in.

Turning Point

‍

For a long time, I was stuck in a frustrating cycle: I would have a great workout at the gym four days a week, and then drive straight to McDonald's almost every single day. I was putting in the time at the gym, but completely undoing my hard work the minute I left.

‍
My turning point came when I realized that gym time wasn't enough if I didn't care for my body the other 23 hours of the day. I started making tiny, simple changes to my nutrition. Over time, those small steps turned into lasting habits, and I learned a huge lesson: true health requires consistency both inside and outside the gym.

‍
Breaking that cycle changed my life. Today as a coach, I don't expect perfection from anyone because I’ve been there. My goal is to help you build simple habits that stick, so you can finally see the results of your hard work!

Passion & Motivation

‍

My purpose for coaching is to bust the myth that you need to be an elite athlete to do CrossFit. I am here to serve the 'everyday person'—the one who didn’t grow up playing sports, feels intimidated by the gym, or thinks they lack the endurance. If that's you, I am exactly your coach!

‍
My motivation comes from my own story: I started in 2011 with zero fitness background and zero desire to work out. When CrossFit completely upgraded my physical, mental, and social life, I knew I had to pay it forward. I became a coach in 2015 to show people standing exactly where I used to stand that they are capable of incredible things with hard work and consistency.
