Welcome To CrossFit Warehouse

At CrossFit Warehouse, we want to assist in creating a community of like-minded people who are interested in pursuing personal fitness goals. Hopefully, through community and perseverance at CrossFit Warehouse health and wellness will become a lifestyle.

CrossFit trains your body in a functional way and in a different format than most have been accustomed to at a typical gym. You will be in and out in an hour, but you will have worked out not just harder, but smarter.  CrossFit delivers a different WOD (Workout of the Day) each and every day.  If you are bored with your current workout routine, don't want to spend hours at the gym anymore, or you are looking for a different way - your answer is CrossFit Warehouse.

At CrossFit Warehouse, you train in a small group with a coach working toward a common goal.  Members support and push each other to achieve things never thought possible.  The atmosphere of our group classes cannot be found at any typical gym.  This is at the heart of CrossFit, what helps you succeed in meeting your fitness goals and what keeps you coming back for more.  And yes, CrossFit is for you - CrossFit is for EVERYBODY.  Our clients are men and women ranging in age from high school students to retirees.

    Age: 27

    Occupation: Chicago Police Officer

In general, what is your athletic background? I always liked to work out, lift a little weights and I liked to run, but it was never at this intensity!

How did you learn about Crossfit Warehouse? When I entered my first academy, the physical training instructors definitely introduced me to Crossfit! And, I am so ever thankful, when I returned home I found the Warehouse!!

How has Crossfit Warehouse changed your life, lifestyle, and level of fitness?

Crossfit Warehouse has definitely has changed my life because I am so much more happier in the morning when I leave the box-whether it’s from the endorphins , the great friends I see, or the great WOD, it translates to my whole day! It’s changed my lifestyle because it’s become a permanent part of it! My level of fitness has definitely changed because I am so much stronger than I ever was before! I have more energy, more stamina, and feel so strong. My 5ks have also improved which is always so awesome to see when I cross the finish line!

List short/long term goals you would like to accomplish through Crossfit Warehouse: My short term goal is to continue to go to CFW during the remainder of my pregnancy. I am currently five and a half months pregnant, and I have been scaling the WODs, and still getting a great work out! I feel so much better leaving the box versus my days off. But, as my bump gets bigger, we’ll see! However, I am very confident in the coaches and their suggestions to scaling!

My long term goal is to get back to my pre-pregnancy abilities. I definitely felt that I was getting stronger and lifting more! I hope to get my kipping pull-ups down, I hope to get a muscle up one day, and I hope to do a competition one of these days!

What do you like most about Crossfit Warehouse?

It would definitely be the great people I see daily-from the coaches to the members! Everyone has a great spirit and are always so inspiring!

What is your favorite Crossfit movement? I can’t believe I am going to say this, but it has to be the snatch right now! Since I am preggo, I can only lift light so I feel that I have been really working on technique and really enjoying it! Also, I love handstand pushups-again, something I thought I would never, ever be able to do, and I miss them right now!

What is your least favorite Crossfit movement?

I would have to say thrusters, they are so exhausting!!

    Favorite WOD:

I would have to say anything with running-it’s my rest, well it was-we’ll have to see when we get to open the big door and I am running with a bump! But, I also have to say that Chelsea is one of my favs!

What are you currently doing to try to improve your diet?

I am currently trying not to indulge in all of my pregnancy cravings, not that there are too many, but there are a few! I am just trying to continue to eat healthy and remember everything in moderation!!

Favorite movie: My husband would say that I have not seen any or many of the All-American classics so how could I ever choose? But, I would have to say it’s between Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Grease-I love musicals.

Favorite and/or current book: Sounds cliché, but I would have to say Pride and Prejudice; I love Elizabeth Bennet and that era!

Favorite music genre/artist: I love all genres, but I would have to say Country-thanks to my hubby!!

Achievements you’d like to highlight within your life: I am just so thankful to have a great husband, great family, friends, my health, a career, a home and a baby on the way!!

List a few things we don’t know about you: I love art. I love to paint oil paintings, as a kid I wanted to be an artist-a "starving artist" at that! My ma said let’s keep it as a hobby! Also, I love to sing around the house, and I am not very good!!

In 15 words or less, what does CF mean to you?

Crossfit means "one more round" with friends and a great WOD, "ding, ding!" –My hubby definitely helped me with this one!
